Well, well, well…
if you felt the urge to read this piece of shit… probably that’s because your own student life furked or furks you up.
No, you say. But trust me, you are lying to yourself the entire time.
The entire time when you thought that you were born for your favorite subject and then, you thought that you could make the world an amazing place to live in. And then people came in, you got older… you realized that Oh Man!… these changes are so small…
But it’s all about time… that the little drops of water form an entire humongous wave.
All those schools and colleges confuse the real you… the real person inside who loves to do something entirely unique and something you never thought of in the first place.
Life’s like that… It surprises out of nowhere.
Just that… sometimes the surprises furk you up completely.
Well, as a student of a normal CBSE school in my humble India, I share these experiences of mine with the entire world…
If you don’t know about Indian education… well, you learn something new.
And if you already know… you will feel relatable. ;)
First off… life was much and much easier back in kinder Garden. These days I just see my cute little but satanic sister who reads in Class 1 going to school happily. Kids are really very cute.
Such a small little syllabus. She just had to fill up the blanks which said, 'True/False’: Trees are living beings. _____
And yet… and yet…
We forget. We forget about how life was so casual back then.
No one held back their true feelings. They said it right at the front ‘I hate you.’ From next time, the other one became careful about what he/she did.
We forget about the easiness of the questions. The way even that simple little fill in hte blanks made any sense to that dumb head for which reading letters from the scratch wasthe hardest thing to do.

We forget how we used play like we had all the time in the eternity…
Those were good days…
Fast forward some years…
Your grade rises up and now, you can distinguish between social science and science and other languages. And you can also realize which you love and which you just hate to study.
Too bad… you are too small to not give the exam of your hated subject.
Personally, I didn’t like to study Social Science. I’m not using HATE because ‘Hate’ is a very strong word.
You are either the teacher’s pet, or your parent’s pet, or a leader amongst your peers or you are the bullied…
Here’s the first scam which happens… You think you are doing amazing because people are following you. You think that your value is dependant on WHAT OTHERS THINK. You think that if you become the apple of other people’s eyes… you are the best.
And here’s what happens, you think that your world is revolving around your good deeds but trust me, it will take you a long time to realize that you were doing the wrong way.
Because whenever you leave your happiness and your peace to others, you can never control your own destiny.
You think that being in the class monitor makes you superior to the others. That’s why you run after that position. You chase that position even if it means arguing with your best friend. You chase it and you get it and after 2 years, you realize that having a best friend would be far much better than handling the external pressure by getting the ‘monitor’ badge.
The high school phase comes in.
And now, getting admitted to the reputed school seems to matter so much. You prepare but there’s no BURNING DESIRE. Because there are very few student of 10-12 years who are mature enough to ignite and harness their burning desire at that age.
You just superficially know that getting into that respected school would give me lots of respect.
But again, respect matters only on the inside. You may study in Harvard but your parents might still consider you to be an idiot.
It’s just like Elon Musk said it:
I hate when people CONFUSE EDUCATION with intelligence. You can have a bachelor's degree and still be an idiot. - Elon Musk
And the girlfriends and crushes you get… won’t seem to matter much in the end of your high school because trust me, if you both are mature enough, you both will realize that YOUR PERSONAL CAREERS ARE FAR MORE IMPORTANT.
Even if the hottest person walks past you… you will realize that all you can do is watch. You can’t do nothing. Of course, you can feel free to kidnap your crush and do whatever you want… but you will also know in your heart that somethings never work out of force.
Kisses, Hugs and Sex would come and go with various persons… don’t get demotivated. Finding your One takes time.
She might not be there, but she is ;)
There’s a dark truth of coaching centers…
In India, there’s a rush of getting into IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) and AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences). In Class 11 and 12, students are going to coaching institutes in masses by giving Lacs (100000).
Rarely do they know that it’s just the 1 Lac package, which gets told to you for 4 Lacs. And guess what, the scholarship tests are made easier by a lot so that more students get good marks and those institutes come and say something like, ‘Your kid got potential but there’s no professional guidance, I’m afraid. Listen we are offering you a 90% scholarship for our professional Crack IIT course and you can get your kid in and be in relief.’
Later on, you realize that 90% scholarship is only for the tuition fees and you still have to pay for the modules and devices which they provide you with.
Of course some institutes are worth it.
But most of them see students as rankers and bankers.
That’s it. Later on, 2 years after you get into a college (If by any chance you don’t get into IITs and AIIMS), you look back and realize that you had spent so much time in those institutes… Going to the venue and coming back from the venue alone took an hour every week. Attending classes, cracking jokes, restricting your own time in a competition which was for most:
WORTHLESS,
cuz you can’t get into IIT. (You will realize it after you turn 40).
And thing’s would have been a lot better if you learn coding and hacking instead. Get self discipline and time management courses and applied them in your life so that you could uplift your own environment and learn like those coaching centers (and even better) at the comfort of your home.
{Because most of the things are free on YouTube… All it takes is patience and self discipline and a BURNING DESIRE to give yourself the college you want}
Here’s the thing which you don’t know… the level difficulty goes like this:
NEET > AP > JEE MAINS = NDA > UPSC (due to very high competitiveness) > JEE Adv. > INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIADS.
And after that you realize that instead of going into IITs, if you looked beyond the high college fees of world’s best colleges like Harvard, Stanford and Princeton… you could have give yourself a much better life.
Honestly speaking, IIT-Bombay ranks #172 (overall).
It’s easier than you think to get into one of the TOP 150 colleges in the world with lesser fees than IIT. Because all you need is a basic college profile with 1 AP, amazing LORs and a little bit of courage to get out of comfort zone.
It’s a little tough to get into top 100 colleges… but it’s fairly possible.
It’s a little hard to make yourself worthy of top 50 colleges in the world. But it’s possible if someone is willing to give 2 hours daily for extra-curriculars and searching opportunities for building a good student profile.
Things go shit when you think about TOP 10 and Ivys (most of the TOP 30 colleges would give you 100% FINANCIAL AID… you will study for 4 years for COMPLETELY FREE) But trust me, if you can get into one of the colleges once… Your life is made. Becaus getting accepted takes effort. And that effort automatically makes you strong enough to tackle anything (almost) in your life.
MIT is hard. And you are now competing with the world’s best. You need several APs, a good SAT score (1550+ in 1600), and a strong college profile.
Honestly speaking, I’m currently prepping for MIT and things are a little hard.
I realized that most of the students in India want to go abroad but they don’t know how… So I decided to start up Abroad For a Better Future, it’s a simple community on WhatsApp where we only admit students who possess a strong mindset and a burning inner desire to get into their dream colleges.
We don’t admit just anyone (btw, it’s completely free) and here’s the link to fill up the form ;)

Fill in the details and after reading your answers our board will decide if you are good enough or not.
Colleges feel awkward to start with… But trust me, you will get a lot of time in your first year, if you are a science student. And then, thing’s go shit in the coming years…
You will realize one thing about your school life. There’s a different nostalgia which you come in your mind when you would visit your previous schools. A little wish to touch the walls of the room where you spent more than a decade of your life. And it’s amazing.
One of the biggest scams about school life is that… rarely our school friends remain PERMANENT. And after a certain thinking you would realize it yourself that if one person wasn’t close to you in a good sense, you wouldn’t even remember him/her after you get a job and have a family.
Well… Scams come and go. And the most important thing is whether you learn from your faults. We all are imperfect. Because absolute perfection is impossible. With time, realizations would come and go. And it’s important to understand yourself deeply.
What are your inner values? what do you value the most? What’s your super power?
Mine deepest values are service, loyalty, honesty, not-regretting my actions & sincerity.
I value my time the most.
My super power is learning, time and people.
When you are sure about your answers, don’t make them a constant. Try to live by them. But if with time, things change… like the Mahabharata,
BE DYNAMIC.
And after you achieve your answers of these three questions, let me know in the comments below… Trust me, it’s just the starting of a journey called ‘life’, which truly meant and means finding YOURSELF.
At the end of the night, alone, we all know who we are. And we feel (if you are conscious enough) that your time isn’t unlimited.
You have to do something in your life.
To make it worth remembering.
Not for your wife, not your son, not your mentor…
FOR YOU.
It’s all about YOU. Even in the end.
Everyone one of us born with a cry.
You make your life so that, you must leave in pure silence of peace.
